Congratulations to all the NWCC riders taking part in today’s cold and wet conditions at Nutts Corner. A great result seen new man Stephen Mullan take the first place in a strong field of 70+ riders with Nigel Bradley taking points in 6th place. The team also including Martin Bradley, Paul O’Hara, and open race debutant Adrian Pody McCartney, looked resplendent in the new kit. All riders worked hard through the 40 miles but as expected it came down to a bunch sprint and Mullan, fresh from his success taking the 30’s into Portstewart last week, carried on his fine form taking the win, the money and the trophy back to Gods own country. Mullan joined in the winter from RVCC and is a fine prospect which NWCC will continue to nuture for more black white and blue success. A good day as well for McCartney is his debut finishing in the main pack alongside Martin.
Paul Duffy rode a strong race in the A3s with a 24mph average but Paul kept his powder dry for another day or so he says.
